Cranberry Muffins recipe

Cranberry Muffins are a special autumn treat whether served after Thanksgiving or on a chilly Fall morning. Fresh cranberries are folded into a tender, flaky muffin batter and baked until browned. The tartness of the cranberries is the perfect companion to the sweet muffins, making this recipe quick, easy, and delicious. Smear with butter or cream cheese and serve with coffee for a real autumn treat!

Ingredients list:

1 ½ cups of flour
1 cup of cranberries, either fresh or frozen
1 cup of Milk
½ cup of sugar
¼ cup of melted butter
1 tablespoon of baking powder
1 medium egg
Pinch of salt

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a muffin tin and set aside.

2. In large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

3. In small bowl combine milk, melted butter and egg, and beat to combine. Add to flour and stir until just moistened.

4. Fold in cranberries.

5. Fill muffin tins until 2/3 of the way full. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until browned and cooked through.
